Looks like he was going to that vehicle parked in front of him. You wanted him to cross the road to walk opposing traffic and then cross the road again to face oncoming traffic to get to his vehicle? Like yeah, I rather walk or bike facing oncoming, sticking to the sidewalk...but who will cross the road to get to their car or wherever when it’s just a few feet away? But to not use the sidewalk...  This is what you should expect to happen. Can’t trust anyone and so avoidable too. Smh. Bad judgement.

Looks like a 2 lane roadway. But as van hits him, you see a smaller car riding the middle and then getting into left lane. Wonder if the van and the little car were having road rage issues.
