Re: Guy Falls Asleep on Highway

I still can't figure out how the hell you fall asleep at the wheel. I've worked 60+ hour shifts in emergency and have had to drive 1+ hour to get home, and I've never once felt the urge to pass out whilst driving. Once I get home, sure, I pass out. But never behind the wheel.

^ I have come close in the past many times. Its a scary feeling. Its like you blink just a little longer than you should (when already lagged ie playing a gig after driving 4 hours to get there and back)... I would snap out of it and pull the fuck over.Unlit or dimly lit motorways are the ones that used to get me. Never during the day like this guy though.

I used to say the same thing until it happened to me driving home one afternoon. I literally have no recollection of it happening. I just remember enjoying the ride, on the interstate, and the next thing I know I'm waking up to my car flipping.
