Five Dead As Car Gets Crushed Between Two Trucks
Five members of a family were killed after a car in which they were travelling got crushed between two trucks on the Nizamabad-Hyderabad National Highway, India on Wednesday morning. The accident took place near the busy Tekriyal by-pass junction after the driver of the car tried to overtake a truck from the left side and then tried to turn right to enter the Kamareddy bypass road. However, the truck hit the rear part of the car and dragged it for a few feet onto the other side of the road. A truck coming from the opposite direction crashed into the car crushing it against the other truck. Five persons, including two children and woman, died instantly. Police are yet to bring earth movers to remove the mangled remains of the car and retrieve the dead bodies. |
