A 36-year-old woman suffered several injuries after being involved in a serious traffic accident on Monday morning. The accident occurred around 8 am, after a garbage truck broke a telephone pole wire and the motorcyclist, R.M. who was going in the opposite direction, got tangled in the wire and got launched against a building.

The cable attaches to the handlebars of her motorcycle making her launch against a building window.

The victim suffered an open fracture and remains hospitalized. She underwent surgery on her arm and leg.

The garbage truck was not responsible for the accident, as the vehicle has the recommended height.

The problem would have been caused by the low wiring. Agents say the situation is recurrent and a group was created with employees of operators and guards to exchange information in similar cases.
