Russia, Yesterday a Volkswagen, driven by a 29-year-old man and an oncoming Daewoo, driven by a 50 -year-old man collided with eachother head-on in snowy conditions. The Daewoo driver died from his injuries at the scene. His passengers, a 53-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, have been hospitalized with various injuries. Also, medical assistance was required by the Jetta passengers, two women, 24 and 66 years old. The accident took place in a snowfall. |

Re: Fatal Head-on Collision During Snowfall
The VW cabin held up really well... all the damage seems to be contained in the front end / crumple zone. Looks like the Daewoo is older and didn't stand a chance with any impact. Crushed like a soda can. Also... is it normal for people to drive 80km/h in the snow? (I'm in Australia so have no idea) |

Re: Fatal Head-on Collision During Snowfall
Yes, it is totally normal speed limit here in northern europe in winter time. Not bad at all. But FFS if the road is like in this video, you see 3 tire lines and this camera car was too left (maybe because shitty snow plow). What i saw, I blame the camera car for this accident. |

Re: Fatal Head-on Collision During Snowfall
Definitely don’t bother driving safely in dangerous roadway condition and weather. Can hardly see a few feet in front of you, it’s better to just press the gas and hope you make it to your destination. The fuck goes on in these drivers heads? What an asshole. |
