Elderly Woman Falls from Huge Crane when It Collapses at Mechanical Plant
A 63-year-old woman fell from a crane cabin at the Bugulma Mechanical Plant on Lenin Street, the Tatarstan Prosecutor's Office reported. The accident occurred today around 12:30 PM. The woman fell from the cabin and suffered a fracture and concussion. Her condition is currently stable. As a reminder, in February 2025, the head of the State Labor Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sergei Shashurov, reported that 201 accidents occurred at Tatarstan enterprises in 2024 , 40 of which were fatal. The industries with the highest injury risk were manufacturing, transportation, and storage. |
