Re: Dutch Police Biker Hit by Car
This accident happened a couple of years ago (august 2009) just 5 kilometer from where i live. There was a accident on the other site of the road the officer drove with the ambulance to assist it to hospital. I don't know what he was thinking but i think its not that smart to stop on a road where the maximum speed limit is 130km/h (80mph) and besides that the ambulance could easily passed all the cars on its way because its a 2 lane road so why try to stop all the traffic?. The officer was badly injured but survived the driver of the car was arrested i don't know if he was charged or not. Btw sorry for the bad english. |

Re: Dutch Police Biker Hit by Car
Lucky police man yep. ![]() But really please this accident was caught on film so it can be assessed. I view it that the policeman showed no training in his thought process. Propping in the middle of lane one with oncoming freeway traffic thinking that all vehicles would be in a position of seeing him and stopping or diverting to the other lane safely was stupid. |
