You never stop in the middle of the highway. Whatever the reason. Only if your car can't move at all.

The cop was stupid, he could do his work by making signals for the drivers to go around.

I agree with sickodoco. Hell, I thought the semitruck was going to run over him. Then I thought the yellow car was a cop-killer but I think he was just confused in the traffic. The moto-cop should NOT have been sitting there in the middle of the lane.
