The other motorcycle blocked his path to pass on the right, maybe he didn't want to go on the sidewalk. After impact here comes a guy riding into frame already on the sidewalk. Whether allowed on the sidewalk or not I'd choose ANY option that will avoid the outcome he had.

I imagine it is leftover behavior from the dirt road and donkey cart days, but I still hate it when people park in the travel lanes. Just begging for a crash. That said, the rider was speeding... |
