I was in China in 2000, and walking through the city of Shanghai at 2 am. I never saw a single drunk person, not even college students. During the 3 weeks I was there, I never saw a traffic accident, either. I guess things have changed. (Although in one city, our guide pointed out a pickpocket, and we all trailed along after him, watching his activities. After a while he was very surprised to see a guide and 20 Americans strolling along behind him. It was pretty funny.) Also, there wasn't a SINGLE PIECE OF CHOCOLATE IN ALL OF CHINA. Next time I go, I'm going to take a couple bags of Hershey's Miniatures. |

 Even if that man hadn’t been there, the driver drove on to the sidewalk?! Right?And with the lights...I mean he’s driving a mini SUV...you can see shit in front of you, easy enough. And the driver is parked/stopped in a weird place. Doesn’t look like a parking spot. Is driver drunk as well? Who drives like this but someone uti or just on their phone, not bothering to look...at all!  |
