Drunk Female Driver Goes Off Track Tumbling Upside Down on Bicycle Lane Below
A drunk female driver on Jiangbin Road in Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province lost control of her white SUV, swaying along Jiangbin Road and crashed through a roadside fence before ending up upside down on a bicycle lane below where the car hit a cyclist. Witnesses said the woman stumbled as she got out of the car, reeking of alcohol, and muttered, "I'm celebrating by getting on the road. Luckily the cyclist wasn't hurt. An investigation revealed that the woman involved was a local white-collar worker who had driven while drunk at a dinner party. Her alcohol level was found to be over 80mg/100ml, making her a drunk driver. Police have detained her for 15 days, revoked her driver's license for five years, and fined her 2,000 yuan. |
