After careful analysis. I concluded that he seemed sober, therefore he is a complete Idiot

I can actually see that he made two mistakes.

1st mistake) He saw the gap between the red car and the silver and
drew his line. He kept his eye on the red car thinking he was
clear for a second before the silver car reached him, but
the car that got him shot out from the far right lane (our
left) and accelerated and the poor guy never took his eye off the
red car. I don't know what his plan was with the other side.

2nd mistake) He's a moron
