Containership Takes Out a Passenger Dock at a Ferry Terminal
A Hamburg Süd containership took out a passenger dock at a ferry terminal in Santos, Brazil on Sunday. Fortunately no injuries were reported after the 333-meter-long M/V Cap San Antonio lost control and ended up plowing through a ferry loading dock on the Santos Estuary as it was departing the Port of Santos, causing a large gash in the hull. No word yet on what caused the accident. AIS shows the vessel at an offshore anchorage as of Monday afternoon as the situation is investigated. Cap San Antonio is a 10,500 TEU-capacity containership flying the flag of Denmark. Delivered in 2014, the ship operates between North Europe and the South America East Coast. |

Re: Containership Takes Out a Passenger Dock at a Ferry Terminal
The guy is a real Fellini! He got EVERY inch of the ship that WASN'T involved in the collision. I bet he then went down the dock and filmed some OTHER ships that were just parked.
