Female Tour De France Spectator Holding Huge Sign Causes Mega Accident
German rider, Tony Martin crashed into a spectator holding a sign which read: "Allez Opi-Omi" - a hello message to her grandmother and gradfather. The fan was looking at the camera when Martin crashed into her, causing an almighty pile-up that involved dozens of riders. Unfortunately, it wasn't the only crash of the day. With about 5km left, Chris Froome was one rider involved in a crash which has left his future in the race seemingly in doubt. Froome did eventually finish the race but looked in some discomfort. In the end, the first stage was rather unsurprisingly won by Deceuninck–Quick-Step's Julian Alaphilippe who beat Michael Matthews and Primoz Roglic over the line. Meanwhile Police hunt the female Tour de France spectator, who is on the run and faces being jailed for up to a year after causing a massive crash with her placard and organizers want to charge her after 21 riders were injured. The cycling fan caused one of the worst crashes in the history of the Tour de France |

The only thing dangerous about French sports is an elderly woman holding a piece of cardboard. Hope her sign didn't get bent too bad, so she can use it next year!
