Doesn’t seem like a death. They shut the walkway pretty quickly. No blood coming from his left leg, his sneaker is still white. Doesn’t look damaged and it was the leg that went in and stayed in there first. Hips and above didn’t get pulled in, so internal damage probably didn’t occur. Hope he survived. This is the first time I am seeing someone actually shut it down! |

Actually the guy who pushed emergency-stop button was pretty fast! Victim was lucky he didn't got swallowed all the way in there.

When an elderly man in Chuzhou stands on a supermarket escalator, an elevator panel suddenly breaks and collapses. The old man’s leg is instantly caught in the elevator and is stuck. The police in the jurisdiction quickly launched a rescue. hate those escalators for exactly that reason. |
