Re: Bus Full Of Passengers Goes Over A Cliff
I guess buses are different to cars then, since a handbrake sure as hell can stop a car even with the engine off. And there's always some residual pressure in hydraulic brakes after the power cuts, usually enough to slow a vehicle such that the handbrake can stop it altogether. But no, I've never driven a bus.

Re: Bus Full Of Passengers Goes Over A Cliff
A handbrake wont stop a moving car, the engine has more than enough power to force past the energy that a handbrake puts onto the wheels. If you arent moving or are going slow it would work, but if you slam on your handbreak whilst driving fast you'll slow down then fuck up your brakes and keep moving. Trust me ive done it hah |
