Biker Overtaking on the Left Takes a Tumble

Brazil, In the early evening yesterday (06/10), a motorcyclist crashed into a stream when he tried to overtake a vehicle on the left, he lost control of the bike, and ended up crashing into the sidewalk. After that the motorcyclist was flung into the stream bed.

The victim was referred to the Hospital with fracture in the ribs, bruises on the left arm and bleeding in the chest.

The driver also said that swerved to avoid hitting the bike.

That pedestrian waiting to cross the road was lucky she didn't get hit by the flying bike. And looked to me that the driver of the car actually tried to swerve into the biker.

The driver does turn slightly into the biker. Maybe the scraping of the bike against the car caused to the driver to pull in that direction out of fear he was brushing against a car in the next lane.

Or that car was about to turn left, and then swerved right again when the bike hit.
