Malaysia. Wan M. S. W. M. S, 48, just left his home for his workplace in Butterworth, Penang before being involved in the accident at 8.40 am.

Meanwhile, the victim's friend, Muhammad A. A 33, was shocked as he had just chatted via WhatsApp the night before the incident.

He said he could not believe the incident had happened, even though the deceased was a well-liked person who rarely spoke but always smiled.

Meanwhile, the victim's wife who was also at the Hospital and looked sad because she was still shocked by the incident that happened where her husband died.

Police said, the accident occurred when a car turned right towards Bandar Seri Cendana and entered the path of a motorcycle that was traveling straight from the direction of Bandar Perdana to Taman Sejati.

Police said that as a result of the accident, the motorcycle the victim was riding hit the left side of the car. The victim fell on the road and was confirmed dead at the scene and was sent to the Hospital while the car driver was taken to the same hospital for further treatment.

Initial investigations found that the accident was caused by the negligence of the car driver who ran a traffic light and entered the intersection, causing the victim to hit the left side of his vehicle.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987.
