Danna Paola Echeverría Cruz, a 23-year-old recent graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Veracruz, tragically lost her life on July 7th in a traffic accident in Veracruz.

After several days of fighting for her life in the hospital, the young woman was diagnosed with brain death, leaving a deep sense of loss among her loved ones and the university community.

The fatal incident occurred the previous Sunday when Danna was riding a motorcycle with a companion. A taxi made a reckless U-turn at the intersection of Oriente 6 and Sur 17, causing Danna to be violently thrown from the vehicle and hit the pavement, resulting in critical injuries.

The severe injuries she sustained in the accident led to an irreversible diagnosis. Despite medical efforts and her family's hopes for her recovery, Danna Paola was declared brain dead, devastating news that forced her loved ones to make a momentous decision in a time of profound grief.
