Inverted lanes during rush hour. Surely an everyday occurrence there, as evident by the lane signals with the red X and green arrows.

Sure, but over here where we don't write in wingdings on our billboards, we move the barriers. There is this pretty cool machine that crawls along and does it.

Had these lanes in Tucson for many years. Inbound in the morning, and outbound in the afternoon. But traffic moved slower, and there were only fender-benders. They even referred to them as the "Suicide Lanes"
