I just read about some teen-age European motorcycle "Influencer" who just got killed in Vietnam on her bike, and all I could think of was: "No surprise there! The kid probably wasn't even aware that NONE of the crowd of people she was driving in the middle of, even had driver's licenses!"

Orla Wates wasn't an influencer but was there as a turist as she loved the country. She was in her gap year. She's the daughter of a construction tycoon.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but according to initial information, Orla was riding on the back of a motorbike when the driver lost control.

She was thrown onto the road and then run over by an oncoming truck, resulting in serious injuries.

Despite the efforts of doctors in the Intensive Care Unit, the young girl did not survive and passed away while her parents were at her bedside.

"In this extremely difficult time, our family decided to donate Orla's organs because we believe that if we can give others a chance to live, that is exactly what she wanted. Knowing that she is still alive in the bodies of the organ recipients brings us great comfort."
