Asthmatic Woman Sitting on the Road Dies After Being Run Over by a Van
K, 63, was sitting outside her home Wednesday because she was feeling suffocated due to asthma when suddenly a delivery van parked nearby started moving, hit her, and dragged her for about 15 feet before running over her. She was rushed to a private hospital but tragically passed away during treatment. The driver, 63-year-old M.K, fled the scene immediately after the accident but was arrested by the Police on Thursday evening. This is a double tragedy for the family, as her husband had passed away just a month ago from a long-term illness. The police have registered a case against the driver for negligent driving causing death. The body was handed over to her 3 sons after a post-mortem examination at Hospital. |
