Re: Beetle Engine Catches Fire
hard to believe neither guy knows how to work a fire extinguisher! Also hard to believe that the VW driver doesn't carry a small fire extinguisher with him in the car. VW bugs were KNOWN for this happening. 1 out of 10 VW's that I ever saw had a charred engine cover. It was so common, people didn't even pay attention to it. |

Re: Beetle Engine Catches Fire
lol @ William_May - my impression was that the first fire extinguisher was empty/not pressurized, which is why they couldn't get it to work. Have your extinguishers examined annually, folks! |

Re: Beetle Engine Catches Fire
He grabs a extinguisher at 0:49 from the passenger side, for some reason it didn't work, he throws it on the ground at 1:02. In Brazil a fire extinguisher was mandatory and the expiration had to be up date, now it's optional, then it expires and when you need, this happens. |
