Everyone I knew that had a VW bug carried a fire extinguisher in their car. The extinguishers were pretty cheap, about $5, I think. This was in the 1970's.

Kind of comical that we finally see someone helping their fellow man— in Brazil no less— and the fire extinguisher is a damn dirty dud.
