Amir Asyraaf Abdul Zalil Killed in Motorcycle Crash, Melaka, February 4, 2024
Amir Asyraaf Abdul Zalil was killed when his Yamaha YZF-R15M motorcycle collided with a Perodua Viva at the Taman Paya Emas traffic-light junction in Melaka, Malaysia, on February 4, 2024. He was riding home from work that Sunday night. Dashcam footage shows the approach to the junction. Subsequent recordings and photographs show the overturned car, a downed motorcycle, police and emergency responders at the scene. His mother, Jamilah Said, blamed the car driver after watching the video; that was her assessment of the collision. |

because you have the green light doesn't mean it's safe to blast through an intersection like that as you can't rely on others to follow traffic rules.

True. My guess is the white car was turning left violating a red (no turning) signal arrow.
