1 Dead, 4 Injured when Loaded Runaway Truck Descends Steep Road and Rams Bar
Brazil, June 7 A runaway truck, loaded with construction materials, descended a steep city road hitting several vehicles. Desperate people ran down the street to avoid being run over. The vehicle smashed into a bar where a 59 year old employee died due to the impact. The bar owner and a pedestrian got injured. The trucker and his co-driver also got injured. The trucker told police the brakes were malfunctioning. The incident happened 20 minutes before students finished school and usally travel home down the same road.
