I think he took out a kilo of weed or some illicit drug and tossed it on the ground there. He seemed too focused on getting it the hell out of his trunk like it was extremely important, yet he walks right by it like it was just part of the carnage.

Damn, I played it back to make sure that the lady in the vest with a red shirt underneath had solid gray pants on, without a stripe. That being said, her right femur has a compound fracture and you can see the bone sticking out when she's trying to compose herself and sit up. You can see that her leg is stable up until that white bone protruding, and after that, it's just a mangled bag of bones.
