The zip line didn’t snap. Whatever harness line he had on or didn’t was more the issue. He’s lying there without one and the zip line is still there when he drops.    |

My son writhed in agony for two hours' parents break down at DM's office, pleading for justice. Distraught over the lack of action following the death of their son, Kunal, in a zipline accident, his parents visited the District Magistrate's (DM) office and wept bitterly while demanding justice. Alleging gross negligence on the part of the administration and the adventure company, the family demanded the arrest of those responsible and sought compensation. The DM assured them of an impartial investigation. The accident occurred when the hook attached to the teenager suddenly snapped. The mother stated that her son writhed in pain for two hours, yet no company employee came to his aid. There were no arrangements for an ambulance or first aid at the park. Eventually, they had to rush him to the hospital themselves in an auto-rickshaw. Timely medical treatment could have saved her son's life. She demanded that the guilty be identified and given strict punishment. |
