A video circulated on social media documented the execution of a former member of the criminal faction known as "La Chapiza" in the state of Sinaloa, after he was accused of leaking operational information to "La Mayiza."

The recording shows the victim tied to a tree trunk. During his interrogation while held captive, the individual identified himself as a former associate of the group linked to Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar and admitted to providing intelligence to the "La Mayiza" faction regarding the location and movements of an operational commander known by the alias "El Señor 81." His statements also mentioned that his son was involved in leaking information; however, the son was not found by the captors.

After the coerced interrogation concluded, the assailants doused the man with fuel and set him on fire while issuing warnings to the rival criminal organization.

As of now, state security authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the discovery of the victim or the precise location in Sinaloa where the incident took place.
