Youth Stop Fulani Herdsmen with Ak-47's, Beating Them and Set Them Ablaze
The Sarkin-Hausa of the Arewa community in Edo State, Nigeria Alhaji Adamu Isa has said that he has not received any reports about the killings of northerners (fulani herdsmen) in Edo State. Isa made the remarks while addressing the press soon after having a closed-door meeting with the Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki in Benin City. Tension had risen in the past few days when videos surfaced online picturing armed individuals suspected to be herders were apprehended by Irate youths. In another video, the suspected herders were set ablaze inside their vehicle. Isa said he is yet to find facts about the incidents and insisted that Edo people are peace-loving.  He urged the people to disregard the reports on social media about such killings when asked about the details of the meeting.“As far as I’m concerned as the Sarkin-Hausa in Benin, who is the head of all the Arewa community in Edo State, I have not gotten facts about the stories been shared on the social media” As far as I’m concerned in Edo, Edo is a peace-loving place”.   |

These Falani herders are the same ones who move into areas, steal all the local cattle, and kill the local farmers. They are more like ISIS than simple herders. If you google them, you can find out about how violent they are.
