Do they not give a shit about pedestrians in Chile? When I make a turn at a crosswalk with a pedestrian, I wait until they're completely out of my turn path and still give them a few feet of extra space just to be safe; here the buses don't seem to care at all where the buses are still driving forward even though there are people in the way.

And it might be that the woman thought the bus would hit her or that she would run out of space to walk off the crosswalk because of the size of the road and the sharp turn. I don't think it was her fault. If she'd stopped then the bus driver may have hit her because again they don't respect pedestrians. She obviously couldn't go back either. She was screwed. not her fault

I also didn’t know that they have such a weird turning radius, from her perspective it could have looked as it is was not closing that fast
