Even we in Germany (where guns are basically impossible to get legally), have armed robberies. Last week a cashier got shot in her leg in a local store because she didn't open up the register fast enough and the robber suspected she was trying to sound the alarm or something.
I wonder how tazers and pepper spray would fare against armed robbers, cause you can never know when or why their trigger finger "slips".

But jeez, do those people just don't know the basics of first aid, or is it that they just don't care? At least the off-duty cop could/should have called an ambulance or something.

I wonder what happened to him just below his knees? Where are his shoes? Did the people steal his shoes off his feet as he bled or did someone actually try to rob someone barefoot? I would ask about the gun but I guess that would be the first thing taken. Also, where is the cop(s) in the video? It's the things I don't see that make me think instead of what I do see.

Is it odd or just me that I can hear all those people but no sounds from the guy on the ground? Puking up all that blood must be making audible sounds. And why isn't any blood coming out of his nose?

Many talk about putting him on his side. If you notice, it starts with him on his side and he must had been like that for a short time before the video started. You can see there is a decent amount of blood that he's vomited up already beside him.

He seems to roll to his back because he finds it to feel worse to be on his side in some way. At the start (before he's too weak), he comes up quick to his side when he has to vomit more blood with out much problem but quickly goes to his back again after it comes up.

I still wonder what happened with his knees. A blood trail leading to one and both look to be in bad shape. It also looks like his big toe on his right foot may have an injury just under where the nail starts unless that's just a scar or bad spot in the video. It looks similar to the one spot just under his fucked up left knee.

He goes to rob a mobile phone shop and a mobile phone records his being robbed of his life. Absurd. How no one helps is a statement for their country.

From the look of that, he was shot in the mediastinum - the area of the thorax - chest - that holds the trachea, part of the esophogus, the heart, and the great vessels. One of those vessels - seemingly the aorta was hit, but obviously parts of the lung or trachea was also hit, allowing blood to flow from the blood vessels into the airway. If you notice, at first, he isn't bleeding too much, then it "turns on". That is because his airways are filling (rapidly in this case) and his reaction is coughing to clear the airway in the body's attempt to move air / breathe. I would guess that it was a large caliber bullet at very close range - the ballistics and the cavitation from it are extreme and wide spread. Bad news in the emergency medicine world. The only way that guy might have lived is if that was on the steps of the emergency room and a surgeon was scrubbed up and ready. The aorta can bleed out an adult in a little under 4 minutes, depending on position, damage, underlying medical issues, and luck.
