Re: Young Man Fatally Gored by the Bull
In the 1st vid, that bull had a really cool signature move where he stuck his horns right through the idiot on the floor, directly through to the earth. This helped the bull balance, so much so that his 2 back legs were airborne for a little time. That flex showed real commitment by the bull to not only kill and maim the lanky streak of piss on the floor with style, thus removing the source of its pain and distress, albeit temporarily I would guess. Going forward, before entering the bull ring I think bulls should be played this video, how NOT to be the victim of human on bull interaction. |

Re: Young Man Fatally Gored by the Bull
I am by absolutely no means a PETA-level animal rights activist and honestly don't give two shits about animal rights insofar as trying to help humanity by being efficient in producing food products (or other products) from animals... but if there is some kind of activity or sport where you are basically just fucking with animals, in particular more highly evolved animals such as mammals/birds/reptiles/amphibians, with the intent of hurting them and pissing them off for human amusement, then I will usually root for the animal. Bulls/cows are dumb as shit but it doesn't justify what they deal with in this setting. I, for one, am happy when the bull wins here. Fuck around and find out, play stupid games, etc. etc. etc. |

Re: Young Man Fatally Gored by the Bull
They aren't just waving red flags to piss bulls off.....they are stabbing it repeatedly with swords until it dies.....it's barbaric...how torturing an animal for sport, in a public arena still remains legal is beyond me. I don't have a shred of sympathy for this asshole.... |

If this was an American rodeo, the rodeo clowns would be between the bull and that idiot in a split second. These guys just throw their laundry at the bull from a distance.

Re: Young Man Fatally Gored by the Bull
When you’re genuinely asking a question and trying to find something out, there’s no ‘sounding like a dumb fuck’. Discouraging learning in any capacity is probably the most retarded thing anybody could do. But for bulls: For bull fighting, they’ll selectively breed the bulls that have the most testosterone to make an even more aggressive bull. Bulls aren’t very smart, have naturally high testosterone/aggression, and are territorial. In Canada, we have bull moose, which is extremely territorial, and aggressive during mating seasons. Even though they’re herbivores, they - like bulls- have it hardwired in their DNA to be aggressive and territorial in order to survive in the wild. Which by the way: This is why bears and lions usually end up attacking their owners despite being raised since they were babies: It takes a LONG time of selective breeding to only breed the ones with the LEAST testosterone (complete opposite to bulls) However, lions, Tigers, and bears, despite being intelligent have it hardwired into their DNA that they don’t ‘need’ companionship to survive. No matter how much testosterone you breed out of a tiger, at the end of the day, it’ll be up to the tiger on whether or not it gives a fuck about you. A microcosm of this is how house cats - solitary animals - really don’t give a fuck if their owner is around or not. Meanwhile dogs, have always been a pack animal, which means that it’s literally in their DNA to love their owner and seek approval and companionship. This is because in the wild, a wolf that does not hunt in a pack has a much harder time surviving than one that isn’t. To dogs, being ignored and abandoned is the equivalent of death.. Which now to completely blow your mind: The feelings of jealousy and embarrassment that humans have stems from our own instinct to fit in and be accepted…because like wolves, early humans on their own would likely die if they weren’t accepted by other humans. Sorry to everybody for this long tangent. I love biology, and I’m waiting for my sleeping pills to kick in. I know it’s tl;dr, but maybe some people found this shit interesting. |
