Precisely the way that many uncivilized countries' citizens think. Eye for an eye is a selfish and destructive way to think. Serves the individual's interests, but is detrimental to the society. BTW, "eye for an eye" is a biblical idea. Old testament thinking, which explains it's idiocy. |
