Re: Worker Killed After Being Caught in Machinery (Russian Lathe Accident)
Omg that’s awful, worst I’ve seen. Reminded me a little of one I saw on here or on Vimeo, CCTV Video of Man Pulled Into Spinning Lathe. It’s probably on here.

Re: Worker Killed After Being Caught in Machinery (Russian Lathe Accident)
You dont have to be evil to have a gruesome end. A simple lapse in judgement or sometimes simply bad luck is enough. Ironically I'm glad I work in an abattoir. Yeah the factory is full of knives, axes, circular saws and sharp objects but the machinery itself is small enough that at most you lose a finger or a hand if things go wrong. Chainmail gloves and chainmail aprons are very good at preventing you from accidentally stabbing yourself with a knife too. |

Re: Worker Killed After Being Caught in Machinery (Russian Lathe Accident)
Maybe you can help me. I actually don’t understand the flippancy and the cruel joking about these events. Is that really who you are— you do realize this was a real person doing an honest job. Very tragic. Maybe you think it is a cartoon or a video game. Would very much like to know how your mind works.

Lathes are used to give shape to metal pieces, it seems you can also change the shape of a human being with them too. |
