You dont have to be evil to have a gruesome end. A simple lapse in judgement or sometimes simply bad luck is enough.

Ironically I'm glad I work in an abattoir. Yeah the factory is full of knives, axes, circular saws and sharp objects but the machinery itself is small enough that at most you lose a finger or a hand if things go wrong. Chainmail gloves and chainmail aprons are very good at preventing you from accidentally stabbing yourself with a knife too.
