Re: Worker Jumps into a Steel Melting Furnace
Somebody who payed attention in chemistry and knows what they are talking about, that's rare! It would be impressive if you are correct about the green and blue from phosphorous and calcium, I wouldn't have predicted the heat would burn down to the bones so quickly.

Re: Worker Jumps into a Steel Melting Furnace
I don't mean to be presumptuous (I am also a confirmed liar, which is the truth, to a degree) but this man is almost certainly some sort of biologist. Only a biologist would clearly know what he is talking about, but throw around terms like" instantaneous" and "disintegrated" like they don't mean a god damned thing. |

Re: Worker Jumps into a Steel Melting Furnace
Hahahaha...good point. I am a plastic surgeon, actually. Havr been toying with doing another fellowship in pathology. I mentioned above that heat wouldn't tell the whole story. I neglected to mention that the water in the body would flash to steam, causing it to explode and dispersing the internal contents into the iron rather efficiently. As in, likely within less than a second. You know how steam burns you faster than water? Guess how efficient boiling iron is at transferring heat energy? |
