A 48-year-old man died on the afternoon of Monday after falling from the dome of a building. The victim was identified as Cezar D.

According to the police report, the victim had been working on applying a protective film to the windows on the outside of a building at the Centro Empresarial do Aço when the glass shattered.

Witnesses said he was left hanging on the 4th floor for about 15 minutes before falling to the ground.

The case was registered as a suspicious death at the 35th Police District (Jabaquara), which has requested a forensic investigation and is looking into whether the company responsible failed to comply with safety regulations.
