I saw a bloke come and release him, I didn't see the press reverse until the bloke pressed a switch or something.

There was no malfunction of the machine. If you examine both videos, he accidentally pressed the switch that engaged the press. |

Still, with the guard open, the press shouldn't have closed. I work with machinery that has these kinds of guards and if it's open and you push a button, it shouldn't operate...I still think he may have overidden it somehow or it malfunctioned. It probably could have done it in manual mode, but before he stuck his head in there, the press automatically opened so I doubt he had in manual mode. |
