Re: Work Accident, Head Crushed by Hydraulic Press
Yep, I see that now. Don't know how I missed that the first time. After watching both videos I can see where it appears he hit something to activate it himself. Thanks for correcting me on that. |

From what I see in (the two videos) is that that flimsy door was just a shield and had no bearing on the operation of the machine.

Re: Work Accident, Head Crushed by Hydraulic Press
In the kellyhound posted in the prior two minutes, you can generally see that the button is close to where he places his hand when he sticks his head in the machine. It appears that his right pinky finger and ring finger slipped from the side of the control panel and he may have inadvertently activated the press.

Re: Work Accident, Head Crushed by Hydraulic Press
This is literally one of the most disturbing things I've EVER seen on this site. And like many of you, I've been coming here for years, so... that's saying something.

Re: Work Accident, Head Crushed by Hydraulic Press
He knows it is activated and more likely, he thought the press hang open too long and he went in to see if there is a jammed thing inside. He forgot to switch off to make sure. pure carelessness on his part. handling things like that, leave your bundle of stupidity hanging on a nail back home.
