Yep, they could be charged for several crimes depending on the situation, tampering of evidence, obstruction of justice, accessory to murder, etc. Some jurisdictions even have laws for failing to report a dead body.

That area near the airport around Tuckaseegee Road and Freedom Dr is horrific. Charlotte is currently going through a major gentrification process and pushing that stuff out into the suburbs unfortunately. |
