At that point it's best if it simply ends. The suffering of recovery from burns that extensive is just terrible. Check out this website http://www.alvaroandshawn.com/ and do some research on these two. They did a huge multi page 3 part writeup in a paper about the fire and the guy who got burned the worst. Terrible story but one full of courage as well. |

Slight correction: baking powder is sodium bicarbonate with a few other ingredients like corn starch. And to "siliconize" something requires you add, you know, silicon. Personally, if someone sets themselves on fire, I'm not wasting a perfectly good jacket trying to put it out. Even if you manage to save their life they'll probably just wish they were dead. If you see me on fire like that, let me die. Please. |
