Re: Woman's Face Was Eaten by Pit Bull
right, I've read a few of the news articles that come up when you google her name, all from the beginning of october, all mentioning she was attacked by a pitbull and sustained serious injuries to her face, head and also hands/other parts of the body. however, on the video, no injuries are seen anywhere else on this woman's body. in addition, she was brutally attacked in her sleep (so she did not have her face licked/nibbled on like some of you are suggesting) and was found on the floor of her room by her husband/boyfriend in a puddle of blood and he took her to a hospital immediately. in the video, she is surrounded by what look like firemen/EMTs, as I gather from the reflector-pants. in the articles, doctors mention they have repaired all the woundS on her face, while in the video she... well has no face, just one "big wound" lol. and no, there's no way in hell a face transplant would save her, she would either die from infection or graft rejection (need to be immunosuppressed for the transplant to take, need antibiotics AND an immune system to heal/fight infection, can't have both). plus, come on guys, this is south america, face transplants, really? lol as if. also, while no source was provided, and I have not been able to find one so far either, the above story matches her injuries far more than the pitbull one, so while not linked to (yet), it is far more likely to be what actually happened to the woman in this video. TL;DR the woman in the video is not Gabriela Arcadigni, the "source" story and this video do not match up, looks more like someone cut off the skin of her face imo. |

Re: Woman's Face Was Eaten by Pit Bull
I don't blame pit bulls. I blame owners who make dogs vicious. I also think dog owners should be held fully responsible for any damage done by their dogs. But I guess the trailer and piece of shit pickup truck in the yard won't make a dent in some kid's doctor bills.

Re: Woman's Face Was Eaten by Pit Bull
I am with the skin cut off her face theory. It may be drug induced and self inflicted or torture, but either way, the pit bull debate is irrelevant in this thread. Not that etsu's source is phony, but it could be incorrect. Instead of the dog debate, we should be focusing energy on finding out what really went on here. That's my humble opinion...

Re: Woman's Face Was Eaten by Pit Bull
Because just like in the 70's German Shepards were popular, then became the vicious breed. In The 80's the Rottweiler, the 90's the Dalmation, and here we are in the 20th century and it's the Pitbull. You get a bunch of back yard breeders pumping out defected gene pools, and you have problems. You cross the wrong wires and you're gonna get a short circuit or a blown breaker. Then you mix stupidity, with abuse and neglect and you have a dog that reacts. But the animals always suffer because of human error, there's cause and effect, and for every negative action there's an equal negative reaction. Maybe that dog got tired of being slapped or hit in its face and ate he |
