Woman's Brains On Road After Being Run Over by Husband
A 27-year-old man was arrested after being suspected of running over and killing his wife on the BR-470 in Brunópolis, in western Santa Catarina state, Brazil, this Tuesday (27). According to the Military Police, the suspect fled and was found hours later, when he suffered a traffic accident in the same region. The victim was identified as E.F.S., 39 years old. The man reported to the police that he would have committed the crime because of jealousy of his companion's social media. |

Traumatic cerebral eviscerations are always quite a spectacle… Everything this person was and could ever be, their consciousness, memories, feelings, hopes, and dreams, all in a few pounds of soft fatty meat plopped out on the asphalt mixed in with some blood and cerebrospinal fluid for good measure… I wonder, in some cases, if it happens fast enough, and if the cortex itself remains intact while being ejected, if there’s enough time for some final thought to go through that brain? If so, what must it be thinking as it’s flying through the air? How surreal would it be to experience that moment from that perspective… |

Is that the smoke from the Canadian wildfires? Here in central PA it's been hazy past 2 days. Was just a smart ass remark, I know it's not smoke from Canada but it is here in PA.
