Bystanders probably didn't help because this behaviour is seen as normal there. The financial implications of in juring someone compared to the once only cost of killing them means they are better served by the victim dying. The individual isn't a particulaly bad person there, it's kind of built into their psyche. |

I'm thinking she may have known her victims. It looks like she ran towards the opening of the van when they put the child in and she may have been attempting to grab the child. Whatever the situation, she wanted them dead.
