I don't think she looked left or right. Just plowed ahead with a smile of imbecile contentment like you see on statues of the Buddha. Strange, because you would think the big truck passing her path in front of her would alert her to danger. Its an old Chinese proverb, "its bad luck to eat a black cat or when a truck crosses your path".

We can’t see what lights or signage was at this intersection, if any. Who really had right of way? What if the motorcycle had the right of way? It’s very common for people in a car to run a stop sign or light, but on a motorcycle? How many people here who ride motorcycles commonly run through stops? My guess is very, very few, if any. I believe, purely based on these percentages, that the car driver was in the wrong... Well besides the very obvious fact that they hit and killed the cyclist!!! |
