M.P. Sergeant Dies Jumping Out of the Window After Shooting at His Wife
A sergeant of the Military Police shot at his wife during a fight Saturday morning. According to the fire department, he suffered a psychotic outbreak, fired the shots and threw himself out of the building. He was brought to the hospital alive, but died shortly thereafter. According to the report, he also tried to shoot 5 policemen and was not in his "normal state". No one was hit.  At the beginning of the confusion, the 33-year-old woman contacted police to report her husband's assault and warned them that he was armed with a pistol. With this, the Military Police and the Fire Department were sent to the place. One of the neighbors told he heard five shots. "It was 7:30 when the police arrived. My wife was with my son in the living room when she informed me. Everyone woke up with that." The shots happened around 7:45 am. According to firefighters, the 34-year-old sergeant threw himself from the second floor after the arrival of the police. He lived on the fifth floor, but he invaded his neighbor's apartment downstairs, breaking the door to enter. He was taken alive to the Regional Hospital. He screamed at being rescued. Initially, firefighters had reported that his condition was unstable, with suspected lower limb fractures and bruises. However, the man died after being transported. |
