Man this is just a tragedy in every way. A ton of these situations just need a third calm adult in the room so the couple can cool down and realize just ending the relationship will solve it

I have a problem with the description supplied in the newspaper or whatever it was. "Shot dead" means that the person who was shot is dead when they hit the floor or immediately thereafter and there are no exceptions. From this video we see that she was "shot still bitching."
