Re: Woman Killed During Bus Robbery

Now you see? This goes a long way to support my Cosmic Value theory.

You could pack that bus shoulder to shoulder with that guy--250-375 of him, and just one person's bus fare would have more value than that entire bus's contents (excluding the driver).
You can see it in his eyes, he was only born to be fun murdering.
Something happened so why’s that place for that place.

Re: Woman Killed During Bus Robbery

Oh I'm sorry, maybe for me being spanish the location of Barranquilla was more familiar to me, but i guess people from other countries will be more familiar with places with stronger economical and cultural ties to their place.

It's like when sometimes they post a thread with pics from Indonesia, Thailand, or other southeastern Asian country, and in the description they tell you the district, even the fucking street, but not the country or the city, and I get very frustrated with that

I remember the bus price riots you mention in BR, if i remember correctly they took place in São Paulo, but that's the richest city/state of the country (in general, Brazil has a simple and cruel division: South is rich, white, and European, North is poor, black/indigenous, and violent) . Usually the Brazilian content of this site comes from the central and northern states of the country, which have top homicide rates at world level. Anyway, São Paulo and the rest of Southern Brazil may be richer and quieter compared to the rest of the country, but it's also home to dozens of millions of people and still have very high violent crime rates for western standards.
Where do you live? I'm Canadian. I live on Vancouver Island in the Capital of British Columbia called Victoria. British as hell.

The other day, a lady at the post office declined to send her letter after learning they'd run out of her coined stamps with pictures of the Queen on them.
It's also the city where that prince and his hot freckled wife lived shortly. I hate the Brittainia, and all of its ludicrously formal practices, but that said, I most assuredly would have at least tried to coax that girl into becoming nude at my place, had they just allowed me to unpack my boxes before leaving this place. I was even brushing up on my duelling skills--just incase my Gigolantrisism was revealed, and some Jr Regicide became necessary.

What I meant to write there was that I have some relatives in Buenos Aires, but I was clearly sidetracked, for some reason, by my murderous inclinations toward all things aristocratic.
I did once lie to that girl Flapmon about these Argentinian relatives of mine, by suggesting that they operate a family run narco rape pirate submarine firm. This is untrue though.

Tell me about it! They should have had that written up on the front of the bus.
Maybe then, the dude would have just waited for the next bus, and then this thread could just be about some lady arriving home safely.

I'm from Spain, but you know, we see Latin Americans as our estranged cousins, regardless of their race or nationality.
Almost every Spaniard has a relative who migrated to Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil (etc) when things were fucked up in Spain during XIXth and mid XXth centuries, and those mentioned countries were thriving with European migrants and new opportunities everywhere (Argentina and Uruguay around the year 1900 had one of the world's top per capita incomes in the planet, along with USA and some northern European countries). Some of those migrants prospered, but in the end many came back when things started to twist in that continent. Today, in our globalized and crisis-ridden world, there are also relatively big Spaniard expat communities in many LatAm countries.
And of course, finally, there is a heavy migration flow of Latin Americans to Spain, so in a way, we have finally reestablished the ties with their cultures in our daily life.

Your English is excellent.
That's something we don't hear very often here, probably not in the US much either, the migration of Latin Americans to Spain. I wonder why?
We hear all the time about migration from Africa and places in the Middle East with wars especially, going into all the coastal European countries, but not really at all from anywhere else.

I suppose if it's the American media's job to keep everyone on their toes, and at each others throats, leaving out any alternatives that Latin Americans may have to just showing up at the US Border, might be good idea.

Oh thank you, but my English is better when I write than when I talk... more time to think

Actually I think that Mexicans and other Central American nationals tend to migrate to the US.
The migrants that come to Spain are usually from South America, as you can see in this map. I guess the first thing they take into consideration is the lack of a language barrier.

Maybe he didn’t mean to shoot her, but he didn’t miss a beat after he’d done it.

Senseless killing, for a few virtually worthless coins and notes.
