Woman Found Tortured with Plastic Bag Over Her Head
Manaus. The victim had her hands tied behind her back and a plastic bag on her head. According to information from the 28th Interactive Community Company (Cicom), the residents of the area passed the area, when they found the body at around 6am, and they activated the Military Police. The woman was lying in a wooded area. Next to the corpse was telephone wire. The criminal investigation of the Department of Technical-Scientific Police (DPTC) and teams of the Specialized Homicide and Homicide Police (DEHS) and Medical Legal Institute (IML) were also activated. According to the police, the woman was suffocated. According to a DEHS team it is a woman, aged 20 to 25 years. The Civil Police said that the suspicion is of homicide, but still there is no evidence on the perpetrator of the criminal action. The body was referred to the IML.   |
